APT/TOWN COUNCIL AGREEMENT FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION OF TERRAMAR’S STREETS

An APT delegation met with the Lady Mayor, Ms. Aurora Carbonell, and other members of the Local Government on 22nd May. The Mayor presented a project for the rehabilitation of the streets in the area defined by Av. Navarra, c. Joan de la Cierva and c. Pintor Ramón Casas. The proposal comprises the repaving of streets, repair of sidewalks, the underground burying of all cables and wires, the replacement of street lighting and landscaping. This pilot project is to be executed over the twelve months and is intended to serve as a reference for the rest of the neighbourhood. Likewise, the Mayor expressed her willingness to draw up the project for the entire district during 2020 and establish stages for its execution. These would be carried out in accordance with a biennial budget. All this should be reflected in the next Town Council budget to be approved shortly.
